So, what the heck is Spotify? As far as I can tell, it's ALL music, available for FREE! How does this happen?! It's incredible!

Spotify isn't really free, but it doesn't cost you anything either.
When you listen to Spotify you will periodically be played advertisements, the income from this is shared between the music industry and Spotify.
This type of activity is probably the future for music and is much healthier for the industry than people using piracy sites to download for free.
