So what do you think about Howard Stern taking over one of the voting positions on American Idol?
So it has been said that Simon Cowell is going to be leaving American Idol, to host his own show in England. To fill in for him, Howard Stern, is to be the new judge. Do you think this is a wise decision? Do you feel that he can live up to what Simon has made for himself, or do you think he will be better? Do you think that he will just make the show completely perverted, or does he know enough about music and a great voice to judge fairly?

IMHO I think Howard is using it as a way to get his name out in the main stream media. I am sure Mel Karmazin (CEO of Sirius/XM) is low balling Howard's new contract so it could be a way to show Mel that he is still worth the $100,000,000 a year salary. When news organizations cover stories regarding "The King of all Media" they always say "Shock Jock Howard Stern said on his Sirius Satellite Radio show today that..."
