The cinnamon, sugar, butter pretzel is to die for. I don't even want to know how many calories are in this pretzel. I had to summon my willpower to resist this the past few times I walked by.

I even found the recipe online. What are the chances I could make them as good though?
Auntie Anne's Pretzels Recipe
1 1/2 cup warm water
1 1/8 tsp active dry yeast (1 1/2 pkg)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 1/8 tsp salt
1 cup bread flour
3 cups regular flour
2 cups warm water
2 tbsp baking soda
To taste, coarse salt
2 - 4 tbsp butter (melted)
Preparation Instructions:
Sprinkle yeast on lukewarm water in mixing bowl; stir to dissolve. Add sugar, salt and stir to dissolve; add flour and knead dough until smooth and elastic. Let rise at least 1/2 hour.
While dough is rising, prepare a baking soda water bath with 2 cups warm water and 2 tbsp baking soda. Be certain to stir often.
After dough has risen, pinch off bits of dough and roll into a long rope(about 1/2" or less thick) and shape. Dip pretzel in soda solution and place on greased baking sheet. Allow pretzels to rise again.
Bake in oven at 450°F for about 10 minutes or until golden. Brush with melted butter and enjoy!
Toppings:
After you brush with butter try sprinkling with coarse salt. Or for Auntie Anne's famous Cinnamon Sugar, try melting a stick of butter in a shallow bowl (big enough to fit the entire pretzel) and in another shallow bowl make a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Dip the pretzel into the butter, coating both sides generously. Then dip again into the cinnamon mixture. Enjoy!

aww nice I knew it was a basic recipe. Now I need my cheese sauce and garlic.
It probably sounds boring but I can't help but love the original salt pretzel. More salt = more love!!!! I am a huge fan of dipping the pretzel ends in the salt that falls onto the way paper holder!

My favorite is "SPICED CHOCOLATE PRETZELS" and you can also try this.
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
1 1/2 cups plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
2 eggs
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons finely chopped candied orange or lemon peel
confectioners' sugar
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Process almonds and chocolate in a blender or food processor on until finely chopped. Combine with 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder, cinnamon and cloves. In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar with electric mixer until pale and fluffy.
Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Mix orange peel and the two tablespoons of flour; work into dough with hands.
Divided into 30 equal pieces. On lightly floured surface, roll each piece into a 9 inch rope. Bend into a pretzel shape.
Place 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until firm to the touch.
Cool on wire rack. Sprinkle tops with sifted confectioners' sugar.
