There are so many ways you can earn money online, I really think the sky's the limit.
Here are some ways
- Associated Content (http://www.associatedcontent.com/)
- eHow (http://www.ehow.com/)
- Today (http://www.today.com/)
- Review Stream (http://www.reviewstream.com/)
- Demand Studios (http://www.demandstudios.com/)
- The Dollar Stretcher (http://www.stretcher.com/menu/writers.cfm)
- Constant Content (http://www.constant-content.com/)
- WiseGeek (http://www.wisegeek.com/)
- Helium (http://www.helium.com/)
- BrightHub (http://www.brighthub.com/)
- Online Writing Jobs (http://www.online-writing-jobs.com/jobs/freelance-blogging-jobs.php)
- eBay- Get rid of all your old stuff! (http://www.ebay.com/)
- Etsy-Sell handmade crafts (http://www.etsy.com/)
- Placing ads on your blog (if you have one!)
-BidVertiser (http://www.bidvertiser.com/bdv/BidVertiser/bdv_publisher.dbm)
-AdBrite (http://www.adbrite.com/zones/zone_add.php)
My best suggestion is that you combine a number of these options and watch the dollars roll in!
I hope you find my answer helpful! Best of luck to you :)
It's actually pretty easy to make money online. I found a blog that has working examples on it. It's updated pretty regularly, so there's always new stuff. It's called "Successful Online Marketing". You can find it at http://makebanks.wordpress.co
Hi L,
An interesting question that i posed my brother the other day.
#Mindset#
I have found that thinking small in the beginning really helps i.e., make yourself a list of 20+ projects that you potentially see as bringing you 3-5$ a day - Quantity not quality is key.
#Project Refinement#
After your first brainstorming go through the list again and make it more detailed and refined - The concept is based on what marketer's refer to as "money being in the list" and leads to a snow ball effect of setting these small mini 5$ projects in motion (see first link).
#Traffic buildup and Optimisation#
Once/during choosing your topic, you need to consider if that topic is in an oversaturated market("niche") or not e.g., let's say one of your mini-projects for the week is "ringtones".
You need to find a niche that isn't saturated(you don't want to compete with the big companies) e.g., "ringtones for dogs" (crazy idea huh?) - Google "niche finding".
I'd suggest as a "first-phase" to have a look at my first two links to get yourself into the mindset and up to speed.
There are a whole lot of helpful people on squidoo and twitter that have turned the whole thing into a science ;). Good luck.

EDIT: As of 2/26/09 we are no longer accepting submissions to the Mahalo Greenhouse.
Why not try the trusty Mahalo Greenhouse.

Right on the main page you will find a list of Topics available.

There are lists and lists of different pages that Mahalo is willing to pay for you to build, once you learn the style guide they are very easy to complete and you can probably pump a few out each hour. If you become really good at it there is a good chance that you'll get hired on a full time remote worker....ahem..like myself.
