What is the character limit for notes in the iPhone's Calendar when it syncs to Google Calendar?

What is the character limit for notes attached to appointments in the iPhone's calendar application? I have it syncing to Google calendar using Google Mobile Sync. Is the character limit for notes on GCal and the iPhone's calendar different? If so, what is the limiting factor for the number of characters in a note?

The primary question was 'what is the character limit' not if there was one. There were also a number of subsidiary questions that also remained unanswered. The assumption on the asker's part was that there was a character limit.

If your link indicates the limit, then you should have answered all the questions and given the link as a source.
