Since there are 3 primary colors, making up all the other colors we see. Does it seem likely, there would be just 3 primary shapes
For example, the square(cube), the circle(sphere, the triangle(pyramide).

In my opinion, the shapes analogy is not the best. The triangle is the most basic straight-sided shape but beyond that they all fall into the same category whether its four, five, six or more sides, as long as they're convex shapes. I don't think a cube is any simpler in structure from a rectangular solid such as a brick. And you left out the cone, a very fundamental shape with a circle at the bottom and triangular sides. And the most common pyramide and arguable the most stable is of course the egyptian pyramids having a square base and triangualr sides, more simple would be triangular based pyramid.
What's my point? I think a better comparison/quandry would be the three primary colors and the three dimensions.

Not to be slighted....circles and cylinders. :-)
Well the human eye employs Rods and Cones. Add spheres and you got all three, right?
