Since Jay Leno is coming back to late night, do you think he will do better this time around?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I like Jay Leno, but I have never felt that in the 17 years that he had the Tonight show prior to his return, he ever made the show "his". I still have memories of Johnny Carson at the helm. Even though I was a child at the time, I still see Carson as the one "true host" of the Tonight show and Jay never lived up to that glory.

What was done to Conan was just awful, and even though many people feel differently than I do on this subject, many also share my take on this. Basically, I can find Jay entertaining at times, but after the whole NBC debacle I'd rather watch Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel from now on.

Sorry Jay, sorry NBC.

I do not like him. I think that how this has played out has been horrible. I will not watch his show. I do not know if he can gain the popularity he seeks.

I want him to do really well, but I suspect he may do worse. This is a hard question to answer because I'll either be proven right or wrong shortly. I know NBC has had a great Olympic run, so maybe that will help ratings. I wish I knew more in order to make a better call, but I'm pretty much just guessing like everyone else.

If he could would he? I think he played a guitar on his closing show but I don't know if he was just drowned out by the people playing with him but LOL! & I'm still LOL.

What will happen when he loses Kevin Eubanks?

I forgot about that! Yeah, that could throw a wrench in things. I wonder if Conan O'Brien can play guitar.
