A rich, complex, full-bodied Oatmeal stout
Smells like coffee and dark chocolate
Velvety smooth in the mouth with flavors of roasted malts, oatmeal and warm bread.
Yea I'm thinking a dozen warm Krispy Kreme chocolate mixed donuts and a six-pack of Dragonstooth Stouts would do my beltline good and be a fine celebration of National Donut Day.

That sounds good. I thought about it and concluded that an Enteman's doughnut with an Anchor porter would be the best bet. But, I stopped at the supermarket and they had neither. So, I gave the day a miss. I think you are on the right track though, a good porter sounds to me like the best bet with a good doughnut. Maybe I'll try the combination next National Doughnut Day.
