Signed up for MobileMe so i can sync everything between my 2 laptops in the cloud and backup important stuff. Anyone know of another way?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The problem with finding a MobileMe replacement is that most applications sync exclusively with MobileMe. You could use Dropbox for syncing files, though.

I use Dropbox to sync different files, including some that are required by applications (and contain application data). The only thing you need to know is that you generally can't have the same application (that is accessing a library file on Dropbox) open on both computers at the same time, if they're syncing via Dropbox.

With that being said, Dropbox works really, really well for the most part!

Dropbox gives you 2GB of storage for free. Or, if you want a tiny bit more space, Dropbox gives users who use a referral link 250MB of extra space, and some more space for me, too.

You may want to check out Dropbox. http://www.getdropbox.com/
