M$As far as telling others that's up to you, however if it is a secret from some people, you are unfairly putting that responsiblity on those you do tell. Think about it carefully. Dads sometimes dream about walking their daughters down the isle, and moms very much want to help plan and see their daughter in the wedding gowns. Overall they want to be there.
