Should we be worried about Corexit in our seafood if we do not live around the Gulf of Mexico?
Based on what I have heard, Corexit creates genetic mutation and kills much of the sea life it comes in contact with. Since it is so dangerous I am wondering what kind of impact it will have on people who eat fish from other parts of the world. Will we accumulate it in our bodies and then get sick?

I think in today's global markets you need to be careful about your food in general, regardless of where you are geographically located. I live in California and during my grocery shopping last week I saw 31-40 prawns from Louisiana in the seafood department.
Because the Gulf Region dominates certain seafoods, such as oysters and shrimp, their products will migrate farther out. The same is true with beef, pork, and even vegetables. Many of the green-leaf vegetables consumed in the United States come from California.
