You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Depends if your a fan of a team or the game. If your a fan of a particular team like Notre Dame than yea you probably want automatic bids so you can see your team play in one every year. If your a fan of the game and want to see a real out come you probably don't want the BCS at all you want a play off system. If your the TV broadcasters again you probably want automatic bids. This makes sure large audience teams always have a bowl. I'm sure if Notre dame was 6-6 and went to the whosit's whatit's it bowl it would still draw more of a crowd than my Alma Mater WVU in anything other than the championship bowl.

It's all about the ratings. Personally I'd rather see a playoff system. It would only extend the season by a couple weeks.

I'm ok with automatic BCS bids, as long as they are automatic bids into a playoff. Turn it into a March Madness kind of thing, where the winners of conferences get auto bids but there are also at large bids for good teams, so anybody has a chance of winning a national championship.

I would love that so much.
