Should the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society keep attacking Japanese whalers?

Is it legal?

Are they doing the right thing for whale conservation?

Are they making a difference?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society should keep on attacking Japanese whalers, to make them realize that the world is watching. As to questions with regards to legality, I think there actions encompasses legality, it is more of a moral issue-KILLING WHALES IS NOT RIGHT. The proper thing to do is that the Japanese government should be called by the United Nations to explain their tolerance for allowing the killing of whales.

Like any conservation organization, such as PETA and AIDES, they want to let the world know that they care, and in order to get notice is to take some actions so that people may be prompted to act. In their mind, they have already done their part, what is left is when will governments band together to ban this so called whale holocaust.

While there may be more diplomatic ways of getting someone to listen, the Sea Shepard's goal is to make it so difficult to catch whales, that they hope the whalers just give up.

They will have to be very persistent, but the way to truly end whaling is to get governments to actually give a damn - which isn't as easy as it sounds.
