Should page managers be allowed to remove ads?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If you were say a salesman.. do think your employer would give you the option to not sell their product and still remain an employee? No way.
While ads can be annoying most browsers have become accustomed to them and I don't see an excessively "spam" like amount on Mahalo.
If they really bother you can move all of your content above the ads. So there would just be a ton at the bottom. I try to put 1-2 text blocks between each ad but to each his own. You can't move the ads but you can move the content around them. I feel that option is fairest for page mangers as far as controlling what's on a page there name is attached to and to Mahalo which is a business and so cannot be expected to eliminate it's means of income for a users personal preference.

M$If you hae a ad that is THAT offensive to your viewers you can always contact mahalo via E-Mail at Contact@Mahalo.com or send a direct question to the pages vertical manager or one of the staff.
So to answer your question NO I don't think we should have the ability to remove ads, this should be a internal decision by mahalo weather or not a ad is truly doing more harm than good.
All in all ads create revenue for the page, Its not a great idea to want them removed.
