You are kidding. Right?

Those are both hunting breeds. Of course not.

Wanted to get a second opinion as Canine Spirit says differently

Does snow and/or ice pose a problem for dog’s feet?

Yes, certain conditions produce sticky, wet snow. In these conditions the snow will ball up in-between the dogs toes and cause irritation, cuts and tenderness. Dogs often chew at this frozen snow, pulling out fur and in some cases chunks of their pads. Granular or frozen snow on the other hand is equivalent to course sandpaper and is extremely abrasive on pads. As more people take their dogs snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on groomed or hard-packed trails, it is especially important to protect their pads. Another hazard would be razor sharp ski and snowboard edges. I have seen several and heard of many more severely cut paws, pads and ankles from frolicking dogs that venture too close to skis and snowboards.

Just wanted to check as he slips on our floors and was wondering maybe it would help with slipping on ice.

Dogs will not slip on snow. If you are worried about ice, salt (not chemical ice melters) will help melt the ice. Or use cat litter on top of the ice to help give him a footing.

As to the boots, put them on only if you want to watch your puppy try to pull them off the entire time he is outdoors. Dogs need some training to get used to them and they are usually used for working dogs (such as after 9/11 to help protect their feet from damage.

Um i am going to assume this question is just for grins. Of course you dog should not wear that. No dogs wear boots let alone a hunting breed. They have fur coats for a reason; although don't leave it out in frigid weather if it is too cold try letting it sleep in the garage or house or something. If it is too cold,,which it sounds like it is, then just let the dog inside. the dog would probably try taking a coat and boots off anyways.
