Should Leno get his old spot back, or should Conan get to keep it?

It looks like NBC is going to kick Conan out and put Leno back in. Should they do this? Who's better for ratings? For interest? Is Leno old news or a surefire bet?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

No. No. The only reason these show exist is that "talk is cheap".

I can't believe that I'm the only person in the US who is tired of hearing 15 minute reprises of the same experiences and unqualified opinions of celebrities who are there primarily as advertisements of themselves. Most broadcast network talk shows have deteriorated into garbage, with the exception of PBS programs like Charlie Rose. I'd rather watch 60 minutes of "talk show free" commercials, than one more minute of Jay, Conan, Jimmy or Craig.

RIGHT ON PS_MAHALO!!! I am also not fond of late-night talk show. If I were addicted to Charlie Rose, I would watch it everyday.

They could cancel the entire show and I wouldn't notice. It went to crap after Johnny Carson retired, IMHO

Although I don't watch much TV I feel that Leno is an ego maniac and NBC caters to his addiction - which is watching and hearing himself on TV. Leno needs to leave TV for good. What he and NBC are doing now to Conan is the same thing they did to David Letterman when Carson promised him the Tonight Show. Leno doesn't tell jokes. He is a joke.

Air the Shows at the same time.. Time it right to have commercials one when the other is one, and commercials one when the other is.. Then people can watch a little of both shows and some commercials and decide for themselves.

I think none of them should get it. NBC Network should just start over. If owners of NBC can't succeed, then get out of network broadcasting.
