Should Johnny Knoxville have been arrested in LAX for having a fake grenade?

It wasted the valuable time of many TSA and other law enforcement personnel who should have been screening for actual threats.
He (and possibly the producers if he was working at the time) should be charged at least for the wasting of police time.
If you do a robbery with a fake weapon it is still armed-robbery.
Considering the very well known history of terrible incidents on aircraft in the US, this sort of nonchalant time wasting for fun (of the people trying to keep all of safe on aircraft) should not be tolerated. Especially by someone in the media, it's a poor example of behavior by Knoxville and by the law (by letting him play them).
Throw the book at him, hard (very hard he's a JackAss boy he'd expect it to hurt real good).

M$According to my research, it is acceptable to bring toy weapons aboard an airplane but unacceptable if they are realistic replicas. Since his falls under the realistic replica, then it would have been okay if he had checked his bag, but not acceptable in his carry on.
That said, I would not want to see him arrested because that would mean we could get arrested for similar issues--such as gel-type candles or gel shoe inserts. Two things that are on the "prohibited list"

M$So, yes, he should be subject to the same laws as the rest of us.

Hammers and box cutters fall under the same category, I dont think every handyman who accidentally brought a hammer in his carry on gets arrested.
I once had to leave a corkscrew at the airport after accidentally leaving it in my backpack/carry on. But I was not arrested.
