Should Jenny Slate be fired following her use of an F-Bomb (inappropriate F Word) in last night's season premiere of Saturday Night Live?
Should she be fired for this or not?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It happens more often than you might think on live television. Usually there is a short delay for live TV and if someone is paying attention, they can bleep it out.
I'm sure someone in the control room is also getting reamed for this too.
Actually, with todays media, this might help push her out to the front and center of the very competitive cast and crew that makes up SNL.
I say "f&*k it" and move on.

M$I think firing her over one F-bomb would be a terribly knee jerk reaction & I believe that stations should stand up for the right to have more adult humor on late night TV

M$As far as I am concerned, in prime time television and in late-night television, swearing should be allowed.
So no, she should not be fired, fined, or disciplined. She swore, and I f---ing love her for that!

M$So it's clear that she just goofed and replaced "frickin" with its 'stronger' synonym, probably because it was her first major role on her first episode of "Saturday Night Live" and she got nervous. If they didn't fire Jimmy Fallon for ruining every skit in which he appeared for several seasons in a row, I doubt they'll let this woman go for one little mistake that didn't even air on the West Coast.

M$I don't think she should be 'fired', but if the FCC fines the broadcaster or the show, I think she should have to pay the fine.

M$BTW: It's just a word. Learning to accept other people's speech is more important than trying to change it!
The following video makes my point although it focuses on accepting people who are over weight.
