Should I incorporate my small (very small) business?

I write musical arrangements for High School bands. This year I will do between $7000 - and $10000 in business. Am I making enough to create a S Corp or not?
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I suggest doing a Limited Liability Company (LLC). It is much easier to create and you get many of the same benefits of incorporating.

it's probably not a necessity at this point, nor will you get too much benefit from it, but it NEVER hurts.
