Should I consider adding Google AdSense to my blog?

Does it provide income? Does it make sense to have it if your blog is still new? How can I be sure the ads with be appropriate to my audience? Is this a standard in running a blog?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yes! Especially if this is a new blog! Google Adsense is an easy way to generate Ad profits for your blog at no cost to you. You simply get paid for displaying Google Ads on your site. You choose where and what Ads you would like on your site and Google does the rest of the work for you. Adsense will display Ads that relate to the type of content on your page. This will be based on specific keywords that you use. Advertisers pay out on cost per click. Advertising isn't necessarily a standard for blogs, it just depends whether or not you are simply starting a blog for fun or if you are starting a blog as a business venture and are looking to make profits from it. Visit Google Adsense only for more information.
