Should Facebook ban breastfeeding pictures?
What do you think about that?

Parents, unlike the artificial infant feeding companies, don't have millions of dollars to sink into advertising, but they want to help others avoid the pitfalls of fake milk, like lowered I.Q., increased risk of minor to severe illness and death, and underdeveloped facial muscles. So they put pictures on Facebook and other social sites, and videos on Youtube to let other parents considering nursing their babies that they are not alone.

M$I have no problems with women breast feeding in public, but toss a blanket over it, turn to the side, take a little privacy for this natural process. You want everyone to know you breastfeed? Buy a t-shirt and a bumper sticker. There are a lot of "natural" things I do each day, that doesn't mean I am photographing them and putting them on the web.
No, it is not obscene. But it is awkward. Where do you look?
As to pictures, whatever. People show more breast in low-cut dresses.

M$You look at the mom's eyes and smile and talk, or wherever other than the mother you want to look. I've breastfed 3 kids until they quit, and I always really appreciated when people would carry on as normal.
I know one person who always pulls down the top of her shirt to expose as much as possible, because she's very in-your-face about keeping it in the public discourse. I never was like that. Usually, all you need to do is lift your shirt and kind of drape it around the baby, and most people don't realize you're not just holding the baby on your lap. I even had one older gentleman come over to look because he had no idea what I was doing. I usually wore a vest or a cardigan so there was no side view either.
I really think that coverups shout "I'm breastfeeding under here!" and so does leaving a room to go "in private", as if you were ashamed or if it were something dirty.
I do agree with your comments on pictures. Mostly, it's just the idea of breastfeeding that wigs people out, and it shouldn't. It's not in the least unsanitary or obscene. I think people from other cultures find it amusing it's such hot topic here.
I'm ADHD. Me making eye contact is hard enough. I appreciate the "subtle" breastfeeding. However, I don't want a woman whipping out her breasts in the middle of a store when I'm shopping/working. I also don't think that it suggests you are ashamed or feel dirty because you go someplace private. It means you understand that you are doing something that makes others feel uncomfortable. You are respecting other people's space.
To me, it doesn't seem fair that only people with babies can show their breasts in public. If one person can do it, we all should get to do it. (I know the guys are all HOPING for that.)
i dont no but i think that if a women wants to breast feed on public or have a picture of them breastfeeding than its there own dam choice its not a big deal

M$1) an employee at a company makes a decision and takes action.
2) a customer is offended.
3) the customer raises a stink
4) NOW is the opportunity the company has to turn a tempest in a teapot into bad publicity or good publicity.
the details change, but half the customer service stories that make national news fit into that pattern.

M$If you dont want to see it, you dont have to click it. Doubt anyone would force someone to look at breastfeeding on FB
