Bunk beds are a great space saver. Most people use railings to prevent falls from the top bunk. Those railings are available at the same place you had bought them. Try and fasten the ladder toward the foot end of the beds.

I would say that it depends on the age of the child and their personality. Now the age is important, you don't want to put that bed in a two year olds bedroom as a little boy will surely figure out that he is superman and he will try to fly from the top bunk, or your little one may have to go to the bathroom at night and hurt herself on the ladder. I wouldnt recommend it for children with behavior issues as well, I know someone whose son had issues and through another kid off the top bunk, so those are reasons not to buy one.

Hi Caseymama! I used to have a bunk bed in my sons room. It was just him, but the second bed really came in handy when either of my kids had a sleep over. I think bunk beds are a great idea. They really save on space and kids seem to love them! My answer is yes! Bunk beds are a great idea!!
