For those who do not know, the future of baseball as an Olympic sport is in question.

Baseball at the Summer Olympics had its unofficial debut at the 1900 Summer Games and its official sport at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Baseball has a long history as an exhibition/demonstration sport in the Olympics. However, for 1992 Barcelona the International Olympic Committee (IOC) granted the sport medal status. Olympic baseball is governed by the International Baseball Federation (IBAF).

That is true cut and paste. However, they are considering removing baseball from the Olympic schedule after the 2012 games and I'm disappointed with this.

Why not. They have done that with all most every thing else. My self I think pole dancing should be in the Olympics as well. The things those women do on those poles take as much training and hard work as any other event they have at the Olympics.

Intriguing. You seem to be well versed in this "pole dancing". As an expert in "pole dancing", how would you recommend a scoring system be set in place so that all contestants have a fair and equal chance against others who may have a "leg" up?
