Should Alexander McQueen's label continue on without him?
I'm a huge fan of Alexander McQueen and his work ... it was a real shock to hear the news a few months ago that he had killed himself. Such a sad loss to the world of fashion! He was an amazing designer who had an extremely unique vision for the Art of fashion, and a brilliant command of how to create great spectacles on the runway.
Gucci has announced plans to continue on with the Alexander McQueen label, but his successor has not yet been chosen.

I am a fan of his too and I believe that one of the ways his memories would always remain fresh in the minds of people, especially his fans, will be to continue with his label.
Imagine five years from now, you go into a shop or store and come across some of his designs and label, I guess the first thing that will come to you mind would be the memory of the great designer and how sad he died so soon.
If I was to pick a contemporary designer for his label it would be either Stella Nina McCartney or Sergio Rossi.They are both inspiring and also as hardworking as Alexander McQueen.
