short girls love tall guys... so do short guys love tall girls for the same reason?

As a 6'0 female, I've had some experience in this department. In general, men seem to be judged by society based on their height and money. Women are judged based upon their looks. Men who are tall are seen as strong and successful, while shorter men have to fight more for their position. Shorter men do seem to have a "thing" for tall women. I think shorter men feel a sense of power if they can 'handle' a taller woman. They have always felt slighted by society because of their height, so they try to balance their height through a connection to a tall woman. One man who was around 5'0 come up to me at a mall when I was about 16 and asked me to marry him. He said, "At least our kids would have a chance", so some of the attraction may have a biological component.

Short girl here. I am indeed married to a tall guy, but I've dated men who were tall, medium height and even shorter than me, so it's certainly not true that short girls only love tall guys. Good friends of mine, who are also short, are married to men their height as well, so I don't think you can stereotype an entire group of people like that. By the same token, I know short men who are not with tall women and I know a couple of short men who loved tall women. It really varies from person to person, just like any other personal taste does.

why cant a tall girl love a short guy. its just an out dated convention for the girls to be shorter than men. better if both are of the same height. neither is taller nor shorter, a simbolic representation of Equality.

Good question!

I am a girl of 5 ft 1 inch. My husband is 6 ft 3 inch.

I love taller men.They make me feel safe.I feel like I am protected from all bad things when I am with him.The hugs are better from him also.

I can not imagine a man wanting a woman bigger than him. It is kinda weird.A man is supposed to be the protector not the woman.

That's a bigger difference than me! I'm 5' 1 3/4", and Hubby is 6' 2". :)
