My brand preference has always been New Balance, which I have used for a number of years. I usually buy their cross trainer sneakers with rollbar and abzorb. This type of sneaker helps greatly if you do a lot of walking, and helps with pronation and ankle support. The rollbar provides maximum motion control and stabilizes your foot on impact. The Abzorb absorbs shock on impact and displaces the energy. Besides cross trainers they have other types of shoes according to your preference. I have always found their shoes to be excellent and high quality.
