You can never go wrong with the classics like Polo and J. Crew. They both have lots of great dress shirt options.

Also, you may be interested in knowing that Polo currently has some of their Black Label, which are very high-quality, on sale.

Agreed on Polo rec. Love their cotton braodcloth ones. Do you have any recommendations for women's collection? I am usually lost or confused when shopping with sister or friends.

This may sound a little old school, but I like to look at and try-out my shirt before buying. I try 'em out at Nordstrom or Bloomingdales. Often I've found brands and cloth material that I would've overlooked.

Is this for male or female? Of course, female's section has different choices.

Banana Republic may sound like an old game, but their BR Monogram series is a great place to find dress shirts.

So, as far as "best place" to buy dress shirts goes, I'd say look around Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. There's always something new that I have never seen before, and I can find similar stuff in-store or online.

I would reccomend thta you check out these guys biglion dot com they have a very detailed directory of links of stores like jcpenny,blair and orvis among others, that sell online quality dress shirts at and below your qouted price.
You could also check out sierra trading post dot com they have some lovely shirts that retail from $40 dollar Marx&Schaffner dress shirts to RIscaddo plaid shirts at $90 they claim to be discounting as much as 50% from the store price,it seems they have a pretty good deal going on there.Another store worth having a look at is Virtual clothes horse their prices range from $100 and above to $400.Hope that helps
