Where can I buy notebooks that have good quality paper much like moleskin that costs less?

You're in luck. There is a company named Piccadilly which sells notebooks which are just about identical to Moleskines, except half the price. Grab one for $5.

If you really want to stick with Moleskine, there are a few sites which sell them a little less than face value.

ShipTheWeb offers them for $9.95 each
