You can also find life vests at pretty much any sporting-goods store. I know that Academy Sports & Outdoors carries them, for example.
Incidentally: life jackets aren't lifetime purchases. They do eventually go "bad," so to speak. To test an older life jacket, pitch it overboard. If it sinks, fish it out and destroy it so that nobody comes along and thinks, "Oh, dude, free life jacket!" and takes off with what could be a fatal piece of gear. (Source: the local fishermen. The ones who are smart enough to wear life vests when they're out on their boats test their old vests this way, more often than not.)

Walmart has rack after rack of life vests. I'd stop in there to look around. You can also find life vests at pretty much any sporting-goods store. I know that Academy Sports & Outdoors carries them, for example.
