Where are some places online that I can buy hand made gifts?

With more birthdays coming up than time, I'd like to buy and send some thoughtful gifts from the comfort of my office.

I know about Etsy, but what are some other stores (like Etsy) where I can purchase hand made crafts, flowers or gifts?

Etsy is a very popular on line marketplace for buying and selling all things handmade.

From their web site...

Our mission is to enable people to make a living making things, and to reconnect makers with buyers.

Our vision is to build a new economy and present a better choice: Buy, Sell, and Live Handmade.

Since our launch in June, 2005, over 100,000 sellers from around the world have opened up Etsy shops.

If not Etsy, I'd recommend http://www.UncommonGoods.com as suggested by @nadiraziz. Great alternate site.

Have fun shopping!

You could try http://www.bonanzle.com . They're sort of like an early Ebay, where the community was still small and friendly. There used to be many sellers of handmade items on eBay; many have now moved to Bonanzle (as well as Etsy.

Here's a few for your viewing pleasure. Mind you, the prices are a bit steep!

The WomenForWomenInternational store is great. They are an organization helping women from war-torn countries rebuild their lives. The items for sale are made by women in their programs all over the world who are learning skills that will allow them to have an income and support their families. When you buy something from there you are helping them do so.
I buy a lot of gifts from there and I donate to their organization monthly
