What's a good gift to bring to a white elephant gift exchange holiday party costing $15-$20?

I don't want to be the gift nobody wants even though it is anonymous, it still doesn't feel good to get passed around that much!

Here are a few options in that price range that most people would think is a good gift:

A bottle of champagne or wine
A popular board game like Clue or Taboo
A gift card for gas or groceries
Depending on the crowd, a tool, a kitchen tool or barware could be useful and popular
A bunch of scratcher Lottery tickets

Food and candy is probably not a good choice, since people might want to "be good" at the holidays by not indulging.

If I were going to a white elephant party this year my gift would be a DVD of the movie Biker Boyz. Yes, it is a crappy movie and also a crappy gift, but what's the fun of a white elephant party if there aren't a good selection of crappy gifts in the mix.

It's just a few bucks over your budget, but I've had good luck with the Swiss Army Wallet Card. It's a practical gift that fits neatly in one's wallet.

You can find them at any Big Box retailer and most sporting goods stores.
