Wii,games, blue jeans (this is what the Europeans do - they come to the U.S., buy jeans, sell them back home and pay for the whole trip to the US - This involves a suitcase full of Jeans!). What about hot new cell phones? They're small and easy to pack. What about American Ray-ban, or more modern "hot" sunglasses, anything to do with surfing, baseball (especially New York teams), etc?. Definitely American T-shirts with the latest images and slogans in English. A friend of mine took a bunch of t-shirts to africa with her on a safari and tribesman and people who lived in towns and cities went crazy over them. American university shirts and caps are popular, particularly UCLA and USC.

There is any products I can buy in USA and sell it in Argentina for a profit?
In a couple of days I'm going to Argentina, so I was thinking to take some stuff with me and sell it in Argentina ( There is something similar to Ebay called DeRemate.com ) to help finance my trip.
Now, 10 years ago I bought a Sony Discman for $50 in Circuit City and easily sold it in Buenos Aires for $75, because Discmans were "hot" back then and everybody coming back from USA did the same.
In 2009, what is "hot" and what will be the best products to buy here and sell it there, without having much trouble with Customs?

Believe it or not, there lots of item you can buy in US then sell in argentina. specially now that there is recession , means there a lot of bargains. I say used electronic items. Used items are very in demand in most developing country. used laptop or even used pc if you have a show room. Another item that is easy to sell is used cell phone. these products you can buy cheaply in US, but you can sell it elsewhere for a profit.

Before you purchase any items i would advise you to do some research. especially research on customs and duties for items coming into Argentina. if it is possible for you to this then u can decide which items you would purchase here in America and sell when u travel to Argentina. I i would advise you to buy some cell phones,mp3 players and cameras. but as i said i would find out how much i would need to pay customs to bring in the products into the country
