After owning several brands and models, we have had the best luck with those manufactured by La Crosse Technology.

Our favorite is the stylish Atomic Digital Wall Clock with Moon Phase and Indoor / Outdoor Temperature. You can find this for sale from several on line stores for less than $50.00.

The atomic clock feature is REALLY nice (never set your clock again!) and the range on the outdoor thermometer unit is very good.
