pricegrabber.com is a great site for searching online for product prices. Just type in the product and it will go out and scrape a bunch of sites for prices and display the list to you. Site includes user reviews of the sellers also.

For the 5D mark II battery I used this search:

Canon LP-E6 EOS 5D Mark II Battery Pack

Prices ranged from 22-86. I highly recommend pricegrabber for this type of search, very useful.
