Obviously Christian Bale was out of line but Shane Hulbert was not blameless in this situation. Any actor who's been on a real set knows walking in an actor's sight lines is a big no-no. The fact that this guy was walking around and messing with lights during filming of an emotional scene is really unprofessional and VERY unusual. On the many sets that I've been on, when the director yells action, the crew, talent and background not in frame literally freezes where they are. It's obvious McG had a set that was unprofessional and full of unorthodox shenanigans.
