Well morning drive is the biggest time for radio, so expect to be paying the most.
The average rate is about $300, which is less than I would have thought but still an awful lot for :30. That said, depending on what you're trying to advertise I would suggest checking out Google AdWords. For $300 you can get A LOT more advertising and you only pay when someone clicks your ads! To get an accurate estimate you need to call the individual stations, but I would recommend checking out alternatives because you will be able to get more bang for your buck. But to answer you question, around $30.

What's the going rate for a :30 commercial on radio in a top 10 market during morning drive?
I'm thinking about doing some radio spots in Dallas on a top tier radio station. My target is during morning drive. I've never done advertising before so I really don't know how much it costs. I'm talking to some stations right now but would rather be better equipped in my discussions with better information.
