(vacation rentals by owner)
I use it for a few of my family properties and it works wonders.
We've also had great results from making a video tour of our properties with this company homevidpros.com (which also covers the bay area) it was like $200 for a 3 min video.

Hey thanks OTD. We're on clist but as we're relocating soon we need someone to handle the legal / showing / admin when we're out of state. Also, we're running out of time to find someone as we're leaving early Jan. We're tried corporatehousingbyowner.com, corporatehousing.com etc - any advice?

This is interesting - however as we'd be moving out of state won't these type of rentals be very short term (2 week periods)? Therefore, we'd have to pay someone to handle the legal / letting process right? What's been your experience with this? Does it get expensive?

Yes they would be shorter term, but you can charge much more for short term stays.. SF is quite a popular destination for vacationing families. I guess it would depend if you think people would want to rent it for this purpose. Only real fees are the cleaning after each visit. No legal or letting process fees to speak of.
