Selena Gomez or Demi Lovato: who is the next teen idol after Miley Cyrus?
When I asked my nieces this question, it brought up an argument, because one side preferred Selena Gomez, while the other side chose Demi Lovato. I actually like the new song by Selena Gomez, and think she would do fine, but Demi Lovato has that ‘’star fire’’ and broad smile that most fans love to see on the faces of their stars. Who do you think would be the next teen idol?

While Demi Lovato has a pretty nice voice, I don't see her taking off in a way that Miley Cyrus did. Selena Gomez however has a uniqueness to her, that I think will pay off in the long run and allow her to make her own statement. So I would definitely have to go with Selena. I don't know if she will ever be as big as Miley but she will come a lot closer than Demi I think.
