I put the Cool Iris extension in Firefox on one of our laptops, but my husband hated it. He swears it slowed the laptop down, which it probably did, because that laptop has to use Ben Gay to start up in the morning.
I do like visual search engines sometimes, but when I'm needing information quickly, my learning style is such that I can read much more quickly than these can load. I scan results for keywords I'm looking for, and if I don't see it, I move on. I can't do that so well with these. There may be other uses I've not tried yet.
