What are your thoughts on these search engines, and do you use them? Why or why not? Are there any great visual search engines I'm missing?

I put the Cool Iris extension in Firefox on one of our laptops, but my husband hated it. He swears it slowed the laptop down, which it probably did, because that laptop has to use Ben Gay to start up in the morning.

I do like visual search engines sometimes, but when I'm needing information quickly, my learning style is such that I can read much more quickly than these can load. I scan results for keywords I'm looking for, and if I don't see it, I move on. I can't do that so well with these. There may be other uses I've not tried yet.

I looked at a few of these. Mostly, they were slow or difficult to read.

When I'm searching for something, I want the information in a make-sense kind of way. I want it simple and to the point.
