Yes of course. Most websites are scripted and thus the source is generated. Facebook doesn't have a literal profile page for every user. It has one page called 'profile.php' which generates the source depending on why a user is visiting the page, and the perameters given to it (such as whether the user is a friend, whose profile it is, etc.). The same goes for almost every web application, mahalo and wikipedia included.
