Generally, sites that offer data feeds that comply with the standards of Oembed should work.
At this time Mahalo should support vimeo, hulu, revision3, qik and viddler videos. I will test them below.

Can you give me examples of different Video websites that embed into Mahalo Answers?
I know YouTube embeds, but what if I have a video from a different website like, http://www.ted.com/ or, http://www.thedailyshow.com/ that I would like to use, how do I use embed codes or will their links automatically embed as well? I am curious, show me which embeds work.

The Viddler one gave me an error, but the rest worked perfect.

Thanks Mike, is there any way we can grab actual embed codes and use them, or will we have to rely on only that offer Oembed

You won't be able to add anything via embed codes. Basically, our developers need to have code in our system that will recognize urls of things that are embeddable and then embed them.
