They think it will affect our planet because:
1: it passes dangerously close to our planet which will cause our magnetic poles to shift
2: Since there is a tail following planet X, we will have severe meterorite impacts

The Sumerians did not observe planet X

Since planet X is actually a star that failed to ignite, no there are no people living on the planet

No this is not a sci fi script
