Three dimensional model of the main peak, known as Great Ararat, is the tallest peak in Turkey, rising to 5165 meters (16,945 feet). This southerly, near horizontal view additionally shows the distinctly conically shaped peak known as "Little Ararat" on the left. Both peaks are volcanoes that are geologically young, but activity during historic times is uncertain. Mount Ararat hosts an icefield and various glaciers, like in this late summer scene.

The following images show some of Mount Ararat´s particular locations where Noah´s Ark could be found:

Ahora Gorge with the muddy glacier of black dirt snow falling slowly thru the crevasse. The middle glacier is quite big; its dimension is not clearly appreciated for the lack of proportion and the far distance. Here encircled, we can see a particular shape in what may look the shape of a "Boat". ¿How many countless similar shapes have been recorded during all these years?

Looking down at empty Ahora Gorge, nothing but a barren landscape in what was a filled lower glacier once. If there was ever an Ark inside Ahora Gorge, the thing has gone long ago.

Still, researchers and scholars kept looking for the Ark today in other factible locations throughout Ararat´s landscape. Here some areas of interest picked by Daniel McGivern, businessman and Christian activist, for his summer 2004 expedition to the mountain.

These images were taken in 2003. The following year Europe experienced the hotest summer since the year 1500, which helped in melting the snow in Ararat. Here looking at the Edge of the Abich

---quote---
Mount Ararat is located in extreme northeast Turkey, close to the border of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Iran. Ararat consists of two volcanic peaks: Big Ararat (5137 m) and Little Ararat (3,914m). The top of Big Ararat is covered with snow all year long. The Old Testament story of Noah says that Noah’s ark came to rest on Ararat following the Great Flood. This image is a 3-D perspective view looking from the southwest, created by draping a simulated natural color image over an ASTER-derived digital topography model. The image was acquired on 25 June 2002, and is located at 39.75 degrees North latitude, 44.4 degrees East longitude..

Sorry I overlook some of your questions below the main question.
Here's what I have searched:
---quote---
some people such as the alleged eyewitnesses contended that the Ararat ice cap contains the remains of Noah's Ark since about 90% of the supposed eyewitnesses claim that the boat was sticking out of the ice even though the explorers over the past 50 years did not see the same boat-like structure.
