What is the theory of supergravity?

The theory of supergravity is a theory that combines the main ideas of supersymmetry and general relativity. These 2 ideas combined imply that when supergravity occurs supersymmetry is just a local symmetry.

Supergravity is like most fields of gravity in terms of it containing a spin-2 field where the quantum is a graviton.

At what temperature does supergravity exist? When things are super symmetrical than structures are minimal. Does supergravity exist at the moment of the big bang?
