new value / old value * 100 = %

Ex. 125/100 = 1.25 * 100 = 125%

I guess that's really just a percentage of the original value not really a change. If you wanted to see just the % increase from the original value, i.e. original value +/- the % difference then just subtract 100 from the answer.

new value / old value * 100 - 100 = % diff
Ex. 125/100 = 1.25 * 100 - 100 = +25% up from old value
