Sharks are the 3rd largest predator in the sea.
They feed mostly on seals and fish, they can eat humans but it it not in their normal diet.
There are hundreds of different types of shark species, most of them are harmless and feed on small fish or mollusks.
They have been called the perfect predator because the way their body is shaped.
Sharks have been around since prehistoric times.
The large predators and a few harmless species are in grave danger of extinction, most are listed in the endangered species list.
Their biggest and only predator is us, humans.
