What are the methods of gene cloning ?

I am in a confusion about which are the exact methods of gene cloning.. plz help me to sort them out

This answer is complete wrong.
Gene splicing is a natural phenomenon that occurs within the cell nucleus (and renders different versions of the same mRNA).
Gene cloning is an artificial technique to make copies of a DNA sequence previously isolated. It is very long to explain to someone who doesn't understand the basics of DNA and protein expression so I would advice you to read about it in real science books about genetics or molecular and cell biology.
