Nefererkare ,Nuiserre and Sahure are the three major pyramids. Nefererkare was a 6 steps pyramid 52 m high but was later extended to 72m high. It looks like and Ant Hill . It was built with limestone and mud prick.Nuiserre was a 7 steps 52 m high. It was made out of limestone and conners of it was anchored for stability,Sahure was constructed in 6 steps of rough limestone and motar.The pyramid is relatively small and the internal structure is very simple.
Neferekare and Nuiserre served as gateways.
