The impact is the visible scarring that can be seen on the planet (Visible "Cloud Crater"):

The asteroid was probably only 50 meters across and compared to the size of Jupiter I don't believe it's going to alter the planets rotation or orbit.

well, what we see of jupiter is the cloud cover... That is "cloud scarring" we are seeing there... the asteroid that hit jupiter affected the surface so much when it hit the surface below that it is affecting the clouds above it...
