Another method for recalling them may be to use the first letters of each island to create a sudaname such as: (in geograpical order) that's: KOMMLaHaNi

(O) Oahu
(M) Maui
(M) Molokai
(La) Lanai
(Ha) Hawaii (The Big Island )
(Ni) Niihau

"Oahu Hawaii" (The Gathering Place)
"Maui Hawaii" (The Valley Isle)
